CMAA junior wushu athletes shine at Sibu Schools tournament

Chinese Martial Art Association junior wushu exponents Goh Qiao Qi, Kho Yi Wen, Thian Ai Tieng, Lau Cheng Chan and Auyong showed their talents to grab a total of 5 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes from the 7th Sibu Inter-School Wushu Championship organized by Sibu Quanshu Association which concluded over the weekend in Sibu that attracted some 200 students from 32 schools from Kuching, Sarikei, Bintulu and Sibu.

5 CMAA Wushu junior athletes for Sibu Schools Tournament

Five Chinese Martial Art Association (CMAA) junior athletes will be participating in the 7th Sibu Inter-School Wushu Championship to be held on 2nd October 2005 at the Sacred Heart School Hall, Oya Road, Sibu. The tournament organized by the Sibu Quanshu Association (SQA) has attracted entries of more than 200 students mostly of below 14 years of age from 32 schools located mainly in Sibu, Sarikei, Bintulu and Kuching.

Twenty-two Chinese Martial Art Association wushu athletes successfully attained the Wushu Basic Level upgrading exercise organized by CMAA and supported by the Sarawak State Sports Council held last Friday.

Master Eric Ling on Chinese martial arts mission in US

Chinese Martial Art Association`s (CMAA) Master Eric Ling will out on an international mission to promote and develop Chinese traditional martial arts, from 15th September to 15th November 2005 with his visit to the United States of America. Master Eric Ling aged 46 is currently the CMAA Traditional Wushu Coaching Consultant.

Team Wushu BOEM Athletes Completes 2 week Training Stint

Team Wushu BOEM Mulia Singkawang athletes successfully completed their two-week cross training stint with Chinese Martial Art Association (CMAA) and returned home with high hopes of doing well in the Indonesian wushu scene. The tough and physically strong nine athletes of 4 girls and 5 boys led by Marselus Oktohamardi consistently followed a gruelling triple session a day training conducted by PE Coach Calvin Kong, PC coach Kam Huoh Haw and CMAA instructor Kueh Sze June which ended over last weekend.
